What to Consider When Moving a Loved One into Senior Living

I built Sunny Care Services with the main focus of helping families who are in the transitional season after losing a loved one, however sometimes I get questions asking if we also help people in the transition of going through a divorce or after having a child, and my answer to that is “not yet.” Maybe one day!

But, a few months ago I was asked if we help families with the transition of moving their mom, dad, or loved one into a senior living community, whether that be independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing or memory care. Beyond the physical move, there are still a myriad of transitional tasks to manage, many of which we have experience doing at Sunny. So, I put together a checklist of some of the items to consider when you are moving a loved one into a senior living situation.

Sunny Care Services is now offering assistance with these transitional tasks for moving into elder care. Please reach out to learn more!

Also, if you have done this move for a loved one and see something missing, please send me a note! I would love to add it! Mollie@sunnycareservices.com
